Carlton Cyderworks, based in McMinnville, carries the honor of being Oregon’s third hard cider manufacturer, putting them at the forefront of a growing market sector. Owner Keenan Bailey, inspired by the cider-making traditions of England, founded the company in 2009 with his brother Mark and Allen Gould. Carlton Cyderworks ferments 100 percent apple and pear juices at their McMinnville facility before aging them for three to six months.
